Semi-Quavers comes to the Web.

Semi-Quavers, like Riffs before it, is a comic series set in the world of rock music. (After all, I was a failure as a singer/songwriter long before I was a failure as a cartoonist.) But, while Riffs was always about actual, real life musicians, Semi-Quavers focuses on a group of fictional characters in the indie rock scene.

The main character in this first installment is inspired by Joe Shanahan, owner of Chicago's Metro and that city's foremost rock impresario for the last 25 years or so. (Note that I say "inspired by" – it's not actually supposed to be Joe). Enjoy the comic and, as always, comments are welcome.

Nice one. Good build and a funny punch line. Jokes on crazy contract riders are all over the place, but this comic brings it up a notch.
